This NEW 24-week program includes in-class training, practical training, and options for up to 5 secondary school credits including 3 co-op work placement. It is funded by the Ministry of Immigration, training, and Skills Development. NOTE: The running of this program is subject to enrollment.
When: September 5, 2023 – March 22, 2024 (Subject to Change: may start as late as October 23, 2023)
Entrance Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Screen Police Check
- Proof of Covid vaccine
- A deposit to secure your spot (this will be refunded at completion of program)
- Custodial Skills Program Registration
General Information:
- Classes will be hybrid and half-days – there will be some flexibility according to circumstances and learner goals
- Placements are 6 weeks long
- Skills provide workplace readiness
- Certifications are transferable, which is valuable for employment outside school boards
